Sildenafil Side effects
As with all medications, sildenafil may produce side effects in some individuals. A lot of people do not experience any negative side effects or have only minor ones.
Common side effects
Common side effects occur in more than 1 out of 100 people.
If you experience any of those side effects continue taking the medication however, inform your physician or pharmacist if any of these adverse effects are bothering you or don’t disappear:
- headaches
- feeling sick
- hot flushes that include facial flushing
- indigestion
- an odor that tints your vision, or blurred vision
- stuffy nose
- dizziness
Serious side effects
Rarely do you experience serious side effects and are seen in less than one in 1,000 people.
Sildenafil should be stopped. consult a physician immediately in the event that you experience:
- chest pains occur after or during sexual activity, try to get into the semi-sitting position and attempt to relax. Don’t make use of nitrates to treat chest pain.
- lengthy and painful erections. If are experiencing an erection that lasts longer than 4 hours, see a doctor immediately.
- A sudden loss or decrease of vision
