Fall in blood pressure

Withdrawal symptoms

Nitrate free interval
The likelihood of development of drug tolerance is very high if this medicine is taken very regularly. A minimal amount of nitrate free time is required to avoid tolerance is 10-12 hr/day. The tolerance developed is in general for nitrates and may affect other medicines containing nitrates (cross-tolerance).
Recurring headaches
Use of this medicine may cause recurring headaches in some patients. These headaches can be treated using paracetamol or aspirin.
Blurred vision
Use of this medicine has been associated with a blurring of vision in some rare cases. Discontinue the use and contact your doctor at the first sign of an abnormality in vision.
