Domstal 10 MG Tablet is an effective anti-emetic (medicine used to prevent vomiting and nausea). It increases the intestinal movements and facilitates emptying of the bowel.

When not to use Domstal, Domperidon?
- Allergy
Domstal 10 MG Tablet is not recommended for use in people having a known history of allergy to it. - Tumor of Pituitary gland
Domstal 10 MG Tablet is not recommended for use in people having tumor of the pituitary gland. - Heart diseases
Domstal 10 MG Tablet is not recommended for use in people having an active heart disease like Congestive Heart Failure.
Warnings
Warnings for special population
Pregnancy
This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks involved. The effect of this medicine on the fetus is not clearly established and hence you are advised to consult a doctor before taking this medicine.
Breast-feeding
This medicine is not recommended for use by breastfeeding mothers as there is a risk of side effects on the infant. You are advised to consult your doctors and consider the potential benefit and risks before consuming this medication.
General warnings

Domstal 10 MG Tablet is known to interact with a large number of medications. You are advised to inform the usage of any medication including supplements and herbs to the doctor.
Pediatric use
Domstal 10 MG Tablet should not be used in children who are underweight or malnourished. It should not be used in children who weigh less than 35 kg.
Use in elderly
Domstal 10 MG Tablet should be used with caution in the elderly as the risk of adverse effects are very high.
Effect on heart
Domstal 10 MG Tablet can effect the functioning of the heart, especially in the elderly and people having an active condition like rhythm disorders and Congestive heart failure.
Electrolyte imbalance
Domstal 10 MG Tablet should be used with extreme caution if you are suffering from acute or long-term electrolyte imbalance in the body.
Prolactin imbalance
Domstal 10 MG Tablet may cause an imbalance in the levels of prolactin resulting in disturbances in the menstrual cycle in women. Prolonged use of this medicine can also result in breast like growth in men.
Dosage and duration of uptake
Domstal 10 MG Tablet should be used for the shortest duration possible. The dose should be kept as low as possible. Self-administration is not advised owing to these reasons.
Domstal, Domperidon Dosage
Missed Dose
Skip the missed dose and resume with the next scheduled dose at the right time. The dose should not get doubled in an attempt to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose
Contact your doctor if an overdose is suspected. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, agitation, and convulsions and may be more prevalent in infants and children. Immediate medical attention including gastric lavage may be required in severe cases.
